Magnitude 6.5 event in Sichuan left five confirmed dead, 30 critically injured and 130,000 houses damaged, say local reports
Up to 100 people are feared dead after an earthquake of magnitude 6.5 rattled south-west China late on Tuesday.
Five people were confirmed to have died and more than 60 were injured in the quake, the official Xinhua news agency said, including 30 who were in a critical condition.
