Company blames human error for @realdonaldtrump account’s 11-minute disappearance and says it is investigating

A Twitter employee “inadvertently deactivated” Donald Trump’s personal account, the company said on Thursday, shortly after the president’s @realdonaldtrump handle was down for 11 minutes.

During the brief period of downtime, shortly before 4pm Pacific time, anyone going to the @realDonaldTrump Twitter page would see the message “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!”
