More than 100 craspedacusta jellyfish, a rare species under China’s top-level state protection, have been found in the pond of a museum in south-west China’s Yunnan Province. They were first discovered by staff of the Lijiashan Bronze Museum in Jiangchuan District. The craspedacusta jellyfish are believed to have existed for at least 600m years.
