We look at the challenges of the surging youth population, and what this means for the fight against world poverty
In 2015, world leaders agreed a 17-goal blueprint for a better world by 2030. In collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and in the run-up to the annual Goalkeepers event, this series takes a look at some of the achievements of these sustainable development goals, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities of the global youth boom.
The collaborative series is supported, in part, through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. All of the journalism is editorially independent, commissioned and produced by our Guardian journalists. You can read more about the Guardian’s work with the foundation here.
