Arlene Foster and Tory Eurosceptics indicate they could back PM if treaty legal advice is clearer

The DUP leader, Arlene Foster, has signalled her party is ready to do a deal to end the Brexit impasse, saying that the prime minister must prove only that the constitutional integrity of the UK would be preserved.

Tory Eurosceptics told the Guardian on Thursday that they and the Democratic Unionist party could be persuaded to back Theresa May’s Brexit deal if Geoffrey Cox, the attorney general, gave clearer legal advice about how the UK could withdraw from an international treaty.
