Procession is culmination of day of remembrance including church services and a vigil

Thousands of people gathered in the shadow of Grenfell Tower on Thursday evening for a silent march of remembrance to mark one year since the fire that gutted the building and claimed 72 lives.

People came from across London and further afield for the procession, which was the culmination of a day of events that included church services and a vigil as well as a ceremony at the base of the tower.
