Student organisation NCAFC says it will join anti-Brexit demonstrations this summer

A leftwing organisation that led demonstrations against student fees and Tory higher education reforms has set itself at odds with Jeremy Corbyn over Brexit by pledging to step up campaigns to keep the UK in the EU and maintain free movement of workers.

The move by the National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts (NCAFC), which says it will join anti-Brexit demonstrations this summer and autumn by the National Union of Students (NUS) and organise a “radical, leftwing pro-migrant bloc”, is another sign of young people mobilising increasingly against the UK’s scheduled exit from the EU in March next year.
