Jack Shepherd in custody in Georgia after six months on the run

Jack Shepherd, who has been on the run since being convicted for killing a woman with a speedboat, has surrendered to police in Georgia, a spokesman for the country’s embassy in London has said.

Shepherd had been at large since July last year when he was convicted over the death of 24-year-old Charlotte Brown.
