Northern Ireland judge rejects two challenges to same-sex marriage ban

Mr Justice O’Hara says it does not violate rights of LGBT couples and it is up to Stormont assembly to decide social policy

Two court challenges against the same-sex marriage ban in Northern Ireland have been dismissed.

Mr Justice O’Hara rejected both cases, insisting it did not violate the rights of LGBT couples.
