Five men were accused of gang-raping the woman, then 18, at Spain’s bull-running festival

A young woman who was sexually abused by five men in a case that shook Spain has spoken out for the first time, calling on rape victims not to stay silent.

“Tell a friend, a relative, the police, in a tweet, do it as you wish but tell it,” she wrote in a letter read out on a popular Spanish television programme.
