No 10 warns Russia not to obstruct OPCW investigation into Douma incident while Corbyn calls for political solution

The UK is working with its allies to come up with a rapid and unified response to the apparent chemical weapons attack on Saturday in the rebel-held Syrian town of Douma, Theresa May’s spokesman has said.

Calling the incident, which killed 42 people, deeply disturbing, Downing Street said Britain would consider a range of options if there was verified evidence of chemical weapons being used, but refused to speculate on what this might be.
