‘Unoccupied vehicle’ crushes one-year-old Pearl Black against a wall in Welsh village of Heolgerrig
The parents of Pearl Black, a one-year-old girl who died following an accident involving a car in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales on Sunday, have said “she has left a massive hole in our hearts. The world will be a darker place without her. She was the reason we all lived.”
Police are believed to be investigating reports that an unoccupied car rolled down a hill at an address in Heolgerrig, Merthyr Tydfil, south Wales, into a wall, which then crushed the baby. Pearl was taken to Prince Charles hospital in Merthyr Tydfil by air ambulance after the incident at 1.39pm on Sunday but died a short time later.
